What is the Watertown Area Snow Queen Festival?
We are a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization created to empower young girls in the Watertown Area. We are more than a pageant. We focus on character, communication skills, leadership, community involvement, and personal achievement. Royalty receive scholarships donated by local organizations and businesses in the Watertown, SD area.
When is the Event?

Tickets can be purchased at the door by cash or Venmo.
Who can apply?
- Sr. Snow Queen applicants must be current 12th grade girls.
- Jr. Snow Queen applicants must be current 9th grade girls.
- Snow Princess applicants must be current 6th grade girls.
- Prince and Princess applicants must be current 1st grade boys and girls.

How it works:
Candidates in our 12th grade Sr. Snow Queen, 9th grade Jr. Snow Queen, and 6th grade Snow Princess divisions are evaluated by a panel of judges based on their one-on-one interview, stage presence, and overall demeanor.
Candidates in our 1st grade Little Miss Princess and Little Mr. Prince are selected at random.
